A tasting journey celebrating the tradition of the territory through iconic dishes such as tajarin with ragù, vitello tonnato and a selection of mountain cheeses, prepared with carefully chosen ingredients. Accompanying every course, Villa Giada wines — the true stars of the experience and the thread connecting a journey through taste, history and the food culture of the UNESCO hills.

Aperitivo

The sunset lighting up the hills of Canelli, a glass of wine in hand and a selection of tapas inspired by the authentic flavours of Monferrato. Aperitivo becomes an experience to savour slowly, letting yourself be wrapped in the colours of the landscape and the relaxed atmosphere of the terrace. Whether it's a gathering with friends, a romantic evening or simply a special pause, every detail here invites you to slow down and enjoy the best of the territory, sip by sip, bite by bite.

Dinner

As the sun gives way to evening, the atmosphere shifts and Da Riri comes to life. A tribute to a special grandmother and to everything that cooking knows how to preserve: memories, emotions, aromas that bring back happy moments. In an intimate setting, with few covers and genuine hospitality, every dish is crafted to tell a story and create new memories around the table. Our story

Two young chefs,
a legendary winery

Villa Giada has been one of Monferrato's most celebrated wineries for generations, nestled among the vineyards of Canelli — a UNESCO World Heritage landscape. Its bistrot was born from a simple and courageous idea: to bring the table where the wine already lives.

Two young chefs took on this challenge, bringing energy, creativity and deep respect for tradition. The cuisine at Villa Giada Bistrot is a dialogue between Piedmont and Rome, between seasons and territory, always guided by authentic simplicity.

The floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the rows of vines, the summer terrace, the two floors with their hillside views: every detail tells the story of a remarkable place.

Seasonal tasting menus that change with the rhythms of the kitchen. At lunch, Piedmontese tradition takes centre stage — tajarin, raw Fassona beef, a reinterpreted finanziera. In the evening the range opens up: classic Roman dishes, characterful vegetarian options.

The location

Regione Ceirole, Canelli. A hillside among the vines, a nineteenth-century villa, floor-to-ceiling windows framing the UNESCO landscape. The bistrot spans two floors and a generous summer terrace.

Just 30 covers to ensure attentive, unhurried service in an intimate and collected atmosphere. Not quantity, but the quality of every single moment.
